Speaking in an interview with GHOne, Nana Abodade III expressed his gratitude and unwavering support for Mahama, highlighting the country’s dire need for leadership that prioritizes recovery and restoration. He criticized the outgoing administration, accusing it of rampant corruption and mismanagement that has left the nation in economic and social disarray.

Drawing inspiration from the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:29-37, Nana Abodade III compared Ghana to the wounded traveler in the Bible, stripped of its resources and left “bleeding” by past leaders.

“We thank God that the good Lord is about to give the mantle to President Mahama. As it is in Luke 10:29, Ghana has been stripped naked and Ghana is bleeding. The robbers have stolen all the goodies, so a Good Samaritan has come to rescue her, put her in a healthy and happy situation, and also recover the loot that the robbers took,” he said.

The Krontihene expressed optimism about Mahama’s leadership, believing that he has the vision and capability to restore Ghana to a state of prosperity and dignity. Nana Abodade III further emphasized the importance of collective support for the incoming administration to ensure the successful implementation of policies aimed at rebuilding the country.

His remarks resonate with many Ghanaians who are hopeful that the new government will prioritize transparency, accountability, and the welfare of the people.

As John Mahama prepares to take office, expectations are high for a leadership approach that addresses corruption, economic challenges, and social inequalities. Nana Abodade III’s endorsement adds to the voices calling for unity and resilience as Ghana enters a new chapter under the leadership of Mahama.
