The Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga, has officially taken over as the new Majority Leader in Parliament, succeeding Cassiel Ato Forson, who now heads the Ministry of Finance.

This significant reshuffle marks a strategic realignment within the Majority Caucus, aimed at bolstering parliamentary leadership and ensuring seamless collaboration with the executive arm of government.
Key Leadership Adjustments
Alongside Ayariga’s appointment, other notable changes in the Majority Caucus leadership include:
Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor (MP for South Dayi): Expected to become the new Majority Chief Whip, succeeding Governs Agbodza, who recently assumed the role of Minister for Roads and Highways.
Kweku Ricketts-Hagan (MP for Cape Coast South): Tipped to take over as Deputy Majority Leader from Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, who has transitioned to the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.
Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe-Ghansah (Second Deputy Whip): Rumored to be in line for promotion to First Deputy Whip, strengthening the leadership team on the Majority front bench.
