President John Dramani Mahama has announced key ministerial nominations to strengthen his government’s leadership in critical sectors. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has been nominated as the Finance Minister-designate, while John Abdulai Jinapor is set to serve as Energy Minister-designate. Additionally, Dominic Akuritinga Ayine has been named Attorney General and Minister of Justice-designate.

The announcement was made through a statement issued by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Acting Spokesperson to the President.


These nominations reflect the President’s commitment to ensuring a competent team to address the country’s pressing financial, energy, and legal challenges. Dr. Ato Forson, an experienced economist and policy expert, is expected to spearhead efforts to stabilize and grow Ghana’s economy.


John Jinapor, with his vast experience in the energy sector, is tasked with leading the nation toward sustainable and efficient energy solutions. Dominic Ayine, a legal scholar and seasoned practitioner, will oversee judicial reforms and uphold justice.
