John Mahama Unveils 2024 Transition Team: Key Figures Appointed for Smooth Power Transfer

President-elect John Dramani Mahama, following his victory in the December 7, 2024, general elections, has announced the composition of his 2024 Transition Team in line with the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (ACT 845).
The team, consisting of seasoned professionals from various sectors such as finance, governance, and public administration, will collaborate with the outgoing administration to ensure a seamless transfer of political power.

Members of the 2024 Transition Team:
Hon. Julius Debrah – Co-Chairperson
Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia – Member
Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey – Member
Dr. Callistus Mahama – Member/Secretary to the Transition Team
Dr. Valerie Sawyer – Member
Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi – Member
Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson – Member
Hon. Mahama Ayariga – Member
Hon. Goosie Tanoh – Member
Dr. Edward Omane Boamah – Member
In addition, Edward Doe Adjaho has been nominated to serve as a member of the Transitional Advisory Council.
This Transition Team is tasked with facilitating a smooth and effective handover to the incoming government, reflecting a commitment to good governance and national progress.
